La octogésima segunda entrega de los premios Oscar ya tiene a sus nominados. Con 9 nominaciones cada una, “Avatar” y “The Hurt Locker” lideran las categorías. La ex pareja de James Cameron y Kathryn Bigelow compiten en las categorías de Mejor Película y Mejor Dirección.
Este año la competencia por el premio a mejor película será entre diez nominadas, hecho que no se daba desde 1943. Además de “Avatar” y “The hurt Locker”, las otras nominadas son “The Blind Side”, “District 9”, “Inglourious Basterds”, “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ By Sapphire”, “A Serious Man”, “An Education”, y la animada “Up”.
Por su parte, Meryl Streep aumenta su récord de nominaciones a 16 por «Julie & Julia». Jeff Bridges y Sandra Bullock se perfilan como los favoritos en las categoría de Mejor Actor y Actriz principal respectivamente.
En la categoría a mejor película extranjera, Argentina con “El secreto de sus ojos”, y Perú con “La teta asustada” disputan el premio junto a la ganadora del Globo de Oro, “The White Ribbon” de Alemania.
