La temporada de premiaciones en Hollywood comenzó ayer con las nominaciones a los Screen Actors Guild Awards, del Sindicato de Actores. En tanto hoy, la prensa extranjera a través de los Globos de Oro, dio a conocer sus nominados para las categorías pertenecientes a Cine y Televisión.
Varias fueron las sorpresas pero, principalmente, fue la ausencia de nominaciones para ciertas series como The Big Bang Theory o Modern Family en Mejor Serie de Comedia. En cuanto a actrices, Amy Poelher no fue nominada por su protagónico en Parks & Recreation, pese a que el año pasado se llevó dicho galardón.
Julia Roberts tampoco estuvo considerada por su brillante actuación en la película de HBO, The Normal Heart.
La sorpresa la dio la serie del canal The CW, Jane the Virgin, adaptación de la teleserie Juana La Virgen, que fue nominada a Mejor Serie de Comedia y a Mejor Actriz de Comedia por la interpretación de Gina Rodriguez en el papel principal.
